- Snot Stew - Dick King-Smith write enjoyable animal stories.
- Deltora Quest Boxed Set - I've heard that it is a fun adventure/fantasy series.
- The Shadow Children Collection - potentially tough for fourth graders, but again, I've heard that it is very exciting and adventurous.
